Jowher Rizvi, managing director of PEB Steel Alliance, has been elected president of Steel Building Manufacturers’ Association of Bangladesh (SBMA) for 2022-2024 during a third biannual general election this year.
Md Rashed Khan, chairman of Modern Structures, has been elected general secretary, says a press release.
The 11-member executive committee comprises Md Delwar Hossain, managing director (MD) of Jalalabad Steel Building; Imran Mustafiz, MD of NDE Steel Structures; Md Rafiqul Islam, MD of Quantum Builders & Engineering; Muhammod Arman, MD of Composite Steel Structure; Md Shahnewaz, MD of Newaz Steel; Md Ziaur Rahman, MD of GEO Steel (BD); Kazi Abid Hassan, MD of Confidence Steel Building Technologies; Md Golam Hossain, MD of SteelCraft PEB, and KM Masudur Rahman, MD of Masud Steel Design BD.
